A few pages about adoption — why?
In principle adoption means the acceptance of a person like a child of his own. With this we have enumerated the similarities, which combine the different ways of adoption, and we can proceed to the differences. A divorced woman starts a relationship with a new man, has a child and the new partner becomes its new father by law. That is adoption. A childless couple, which cannot have a baby in the natural way, decides to accept a foreign child as a real member of the family and get the chance to do it by law. This… is adoption too. Madonna accepts a child from Malawi as a child of her own. And this too… this too is adoption. And depending on the way of adoption, different tasks have to be done.
We want to make the topic adoption a bit more familiar to you. We will explain the difference between an open, a half open and an incognito adoption and we will show you some difficulties and alternatives. The aim of these pages is clarification. Clarification for the people, who have the declared aim to adopt a child or an adult and clarification for the people, who still think about the question, if adoption could be a right way for them. We will illuminate different aspects of the topic adoption and give you the knowledge of little experts. We want, that adoption is a conscious decision of the adoptive parents which means luckiness for them and for the adopted person. Even if these pages reach that aim only in one case, they have served their purpose.
