Children change their parent’s life
Oh yes, children really change parents life, adopted children are no exception. For some people it may be a platitude, but we think, nevertheless it should be mentioned. Adopted babies like your natural baby, maybe sleep not through the whole night, possibly they wake up several times, because a) they are hungry, b) you have to swaddle the baby or c) the baby is frightened or feels pain. Your adopted child needs you and if it needs you at night, you as responsible parents cannot refuse help, even if you pay help with being very sleepy during the day. The little person, entering life of the new parents, maybe will change the relationship between the parents too a bit. Spontaneity will be limited. You want to go spontaneously to the cinema, in a restaurant, for dancing? That works only if you have a real good babysitter, who has got time in that moment to look for the baby. Maybe a couple will have less time than before for each other after an adoption, because the baby needs a lot of attention. This is something, you should consider too.
